I know this is really boring, but any opinions on the new E-class?

I know the engine are slightly improve from the current line.
Drag coefficient is 0.26 to 0.27 depend on the model
Chassis strength rigidity increase 18%
there will be E320 and E500 for the first year, AMG version should follow up.

 

Where's the manual tranny?

 

there will be a 6-speed manual offer in lower model like E240 and diesel models in Europe.
US likely to get only 5 speed auto or maybe 6-speed auto later

 

Well it looks a whole lot better than the old generation. Although not bad looking at all in the AMG skin, it leaves much to be desired. The interior on the new E looks great as well. . .looks a whole lot like the C Class!

 

the new AMG E55 may use the 5.5L supercharge V8 from SL55.
that s 476hp and 516Ibft

 

I saw the new E class on a magazine..
it really looks great from inside to outside IMO....
