New NSX
Anyone else read the article in the new Motor Trend about the Acura NSX? It said that most likely the new NSX will not have the V8, but instead, the Dualnote Concept is very telling in what the next NSX will be powered by, and LOOK like? In fact, they took off the Honda badges and placed Acura badges on the Dualnote for the Chicago Auto show!! Say it isn't so!!
It isn't so...
My father is planning on buying a Birkin S3 rolling chassis... and he will power it like the Dualnote is powered.
Low weight and torque everywhere fromthe electric motor.
No batteries, just a small engine as a generator.

I saw the concept for the new NSX at New York (NYIAS) at 2002, and when i was there, it said they were still planning on putting in the I-VTEC V8. granted, that was like January, and i haven't read that article, so i could be wrong. what's the specs on the new non V8 engine?

I'd rather see the NSX be a technological tour de force, highlighting what is possible with IMA (hybrid) technology, than just another V-8 supercar that none of us can afford. Well, most of us can't afford at least.
