It looks kind of cool and maybe could even sell to someone who wants something more stable than a two wheeler and gets good milage but they don't even mention milage as far as I could find and doesn't $15k seem kind of steep?

Its not the earth shattering performance of a sport bike and you still get rained on. And there aint much to it. If someone would have asked me to venture a guess as to what it costs I would have said $8-10k.

vader1, they get 30-40 mpg. It's quite a bit more sophisticated than a bike, w/ ABS, TCS, stab. control, reverse, trunk in the front, optional semi-auto tranny, etc., and uses the great Rotax engine from Aprilia's literbikes - some of which cost more than the Can-Am. The fit and finish is very nice, and it has stainless steel lines + belt drive.

I doubt they'll convert too many sportbike riders (incl. me), but I'd be interested if I had the extra space and money. W/ the trunk, I'd use it for commuting and errands that wouldn't be a practical w/ the Super Duke.

Not trying to talk anyone into one. My point is that I was neutral at best on them before taking a ride, but found the experience more fun than I expected. Take a test ride if you have a chance, that's all...

I could see it as the ultimate resident of a toybox RV you take to tour all the national parks.

Plenty of room to pack a lunch for the day, very convenient for multiple frequent stops on the side of the road, uninterrupted view of the sights...

I think I just saw one of these at the Home Depot on 620 / 2222 at lunch. Pretty cool looking thing.

I saw one of those the other day here in Ventura. Well, I don't know if I want to get a tricycle.

I realize I am resurrecting a dead thread but saw one the other day, in an accident.

The poor guy driving it was minding his own business going down about a 40 mph zone and some lady pulled right out in front of him. He got thrown when he tried to stop and swerve to avoid collision and appeared to hurt his shoulder pretty bad. The bike amazingly stayed upright the whole time.

I saw most of this from a distance. Neat machine, but probably suffers from the idiot inattentive car driver about as much as motorcycles.
