NSX...
Here I go thinking again. Looking into an NSX. If I do get one, I will mod it lightly, ie: wheels, suspension, intake, possible SC. I know there are certain years to go after but I forget which ones.

Pretty much any NSX after 97. That's when it received more HP (290). If you go to www.nsxprime.com there is a section which lists of all the changes per year.

As a quickie guide, here is what I would be aware of: (assuming all manuals)
91-94 = 3.0L OBD1 5 speed coupes
95-96 = 3.0L OBD2 5 speed targa
97+ = 3.2L OBD2 6 speed targa
Performance wise, 95-96s are marginally slower than the early cars and 97+ are noticeably faster. Also, it is generaly accepted that the 97 tranny is makes a much bigger difference than the .2L increase. Here is a quick pro/con guide:
PROS:
91-94 = rigid, light, cheap & easier to get more power from
95-96 = affordable targa tops
97+ = Best stock performance, better rigidity than 95-96
Cons:
91-94 = 5speed, no targa
95-96 = Heavier, not as ridgid, 5 speed, OBD2
97+ = Heavier, Cost, OBD2

I would personally only settle for a 97 + NSX, but thats just me.
The extra power is just too much to resist, plus down here we get the option of having coupe's in all years.
Of course, my wallet would scream for an earlier model NSX...but my heart lies in the C32B

1. Track ONLY: Type R
, Zanardi, 97+ Coupe(Special order only, less than 5 a yr), 91-94 Coupe, NSX-T(97+), NSX-T(95-96)
2. Mods Only(track rarely): 91-96(since they have OBDI and therefore offer more mod potential).
3. Weekend Driver: ANY NSX WILL DO.
BTW, 91-94 Coupes are cheaper to begin with, many have aftermarket rims, I/H/E. Everybody will tell you to get a newer NSX. The reality is that if it hasn't been trashed the 91-94 offer great selection, and LOWER prices. The reliability is essentially the same and the HP deficit can easily be made up with H/E. Intake is useless on a NSX.
That should give you a good start. Oh, and you NEED to read the PRIME
