Official: Audi R8 V10
The R8 finally has the engine it deserves and should have got in the first place, IMHO.
At the price they offer this performance and style, it makes it more difficult to reason out buying a Gallardo. Love the interior, but I'd like to see Audi supply cars with the aluminum bottom steering wheels. well folks this is what we've been waiting for
|
Looks nice, but I can't afford the R8 V8 as it is, and this one won't be any easier to obtain!

Sadly, true for me as well. Dan |

What's the problem? It's still the exact same car it was when they bought it! At least Audi provided a significant power bump not long after the car's intro, which is more than Honda can say about any of its sports cars. |
Give the new price tag, I have a handful of other choices over the R8. Some can say the Porsche 911 turbo, or maybe even the coming NSX or the Lexus LF depending what the performance number are. I've seen the car up close, and it still can't compare it to a Lambo. I'm not saying its a bad looking car, but I think the black piece behind the door just doesn't work with me and also the fact that Audi is typically overprices, not to mention their reliability rankings is not that ideal.

I'm with Chris S, I'll take the old, outdated and now no longer desirable V8 version. They should now be in a price range I'd feel comfortable paying.
