The R8 finally has the engine it deserves and should have got in the first place, IMHO.

At the price they offer this performance and style, it makes it more difficult to reason out buying a Gallardo.

Love the interior, but I'd like to see Audi supply cars with the aluminum bottom steering wheels.

Looks nice, but I can't afford the R8 V8 as it is, and this one won't be any easier to obtain!

I'd take the V8 if they're no longer desirable?

What's the problem? It's still the exact same car it was when they bought it!

At least Audi provided a significant power bump not long after the car's intro, which is more than Honda can say about any of its sports cars.

Give the new price tag, I have a handful of other choices over the R8. Some can say the Porsche 911 turbo, or maybe even the coming NSX or the Lexus LF depending what the performance number are. I've seen the car up close, and it still can't compare it to a Lambo. I'm not saying its a bad looking car, but I think the black piece behind the door just doesn't work with me and also the fact that Audi is typically overprices, not to mention their reliability rankings is not that ideal.

I've seen it up close, I was driving top down, when a dark gray passed by me, it is super sexy, the lines, the design is so elegant, and it sounded like a beast, it had an exotic sound to it.

I'm with Chris S, I'll take the old, outdated and now no longer desirable V8 version. They should now be in a price range I'd feel comfortable paying.
