Yes that is a gt2... you can tell cause it doesnt have awd...

don't GT2s have the black grille thing on the hood?

i'd guess that is a turbo, unless previous gt2s look different

Actually, it is NOT a GT2, but a regular 996 Turbo. You can tell from the brake calipers (red, not the GT2's standard yellow), and the rear spoiler - the regular turbo comes standard with a speed actuated power rear spoiler. The GT2 comes with a high, manually adjustable, carbon fiber rear wing.

More to the point, since this IS a car with AWD, the video is that much more impressive! I thought this was going to be a "crash" video when I first started watching it, but when I saw how controlled the slide was, it made Porsche's AWD system and the test driver look very skilled! That's really hard to do!
