Ok Vipers are getting dangerously cheap
Older Vipers have unforgivably massive body panel gaps. They look like a straight up kit car (...and let's be honest, that's what they are). The only thing they have going for them is rarity/exclusivity. C5Z/base C6 would be faster, handle better, cost less to maintain, and be a more livable car at close to half the initial purchase cost.
If I were buying a 90s-era car for that exclusivity factor I'd go NSX or Supra TT, personally.

I drove an early 90's Viper once. Literally, it felt like I was driving a UPS truck. The ride felt like a 50's solid beam axle front and rear, shifting felt straight out of a dump truck, and the exhaust sound was flat and UPS truck like. In short, it sucked.

The car isn't about impressing your work buddies with "interior refinements." It's a pretty pure sports car from the ground up. If you whine about the interior you are missing the whole point of the car. Simply put, people who don't like the interior shouldn't buy the car. Doesn't make it bad, just means you don't get it.
The V10 exhaust note can be a valid complaint at idle, but I feel the same way about aftermarket exhausts on Porsche and BMW, so whatever. They all sound pretty good running hard, which is arguably the only time to really care what they sound like.
The appeal of the Viper is that it's definitely not for everyone.
