Out with the old, in with the new
my wife and i are expecting our first child, and we realized we needed something bigger. i wasn't going to give up any of my cars, so her accord had to go

i replaced it with this:

initial impressions are very favorable. i test drove lots of compact suvs/crossovers/wagons. it's boxy looks are somewhat polarizing, but i really think it's sharp. the GLK is built like a tank. extremely smooth, quiet and comfortable. sound deadening is fantastic. it's quick enough. handles well enough. controls are fairly ergonomic. but it's no honda odyssey- just two cup holders in the front (not conveniently placed). glove box barely big enough to fit owners manual. lacks the clever storage space tricks you find in many Japanese cars.
i think we'll be very happy with it...
