People are stealing catalytic converters
Yup, been happening a long time. I think it's 99% trucks/suvs. Thieves roll under the car with a battery operated saw. Even older trucks are not safe. Friend had his taken off a mid-90s Toyota PU while in a parking lot at a theater, mid-day. Midas told him they saw about a case a day. I really pity the Tundra owners. I think the new ones have 4 catalytics!

The vehicles that people are stealing cats from are mainly toyota trucks since the clearance is so big and the cat is easy to get to. I wouldn't worry about this in the s2000. Unless you have it raised like 10 inches.
