Default Please Help! G35coupe or 350z?

Hey all,

I'm about to purchase a car within the next 2 weeks, and have decided on 2 particular vehicles. Either a 2003 Infinity G35 coupe w/ sports pkg or a 2003 Nissan 350z performance. The price range and km's are around the same and I dont have to worry about the insurance and such. Right now, I'm debating whether I should get G35 or 350z. Personally, I like the 350z more, but it's a 2-seater, which is not as practical. So please give me some feedbacks or opinions on each car and which car you would prefer and such, thanks alot!

Mike

I love the look of the G35 so I would go that route. Do you want to sacrifice a little bit of performance for some luxury or not?

Even though I prefer the 350z, I'd be concerned about the feathering issue. It seems like they never solved this problem until the '06 models.

i've test driven my friend's 350z and it's an awesome car. Lots of power under tat hood, and probably gonna test drive the g35 this weekend. Is there any good/bad reviews on each car?

i chose the G35 over the Z because of the following:
- back seat
- longer warranty
- better dealers (including loaner car program)
- more gadgets and do-dads
- performance is almost comparable
- nearly the same price (if you compare it to touring or track model Zs)

I don't know. This is pretty hard. If i was the one buying the car I would sit down and decide what's more important Luxury or Performance. If it was performance I would go for the s2000, if luxury I would go for the g35, which would leave the 350z somewhere in the middle of the spectrum. (It is a pretty heavy car for a 2 seater coupe). But since you have narrowed it down to these 2, decide based on whether it is your only vehicle, and whether you have to deal with winters.

Between these 2 I would pick the z.
