Default Porsche Craters too!

Come on everyone sing along. Another one bites the dust, Another one bites the dust and another one . . . . .

What racing series this spring?

Actually it will probably mean better watching since the camera will have to tell the story of several classes and types of cars rather than just the top 2 or 3

The old adage "Win on Sunday, Sell on Monday" doesn't hold much water when nobody is buying cars! I suspect the ROI just isn't there to justify the expense.

They are a business, you know - it's not all fun and games.

I thought Porsche announced that they wouldn't be back before the season ended? I could be wrong but I thought they were moving to Grand Am with Penske for a year or two, and then possibly returning to ALMS in whatever the LMP1 class becomes after ACO and FIA finalize the rules.

Yep, unless something else changes Grand Am it is for Penske Porsche...

So long as the 911 stays in the GT2 class I could care less.

Don't get me wrong, I like prototypes but GT cars really do it for me. I too remember "them" saying that porsche would leave the prototype game before this whole recession thing went into full swing.

Times are tough, money is tight with automakers, and racing is REALLY expensive.
