can u just get an 2002 hard top n drop it in the 2000 model with out any modification?
or just mod the locking part?

 

Not really sure. . .I believe the top is somewhat different. You'll need to supply a VIN when ordering the top and that somehow matches to what top you need. Do a search for Hard Top and you should find the answer you're looking for.

 

Yes you can put the hard top on any MY S2000. MY 2000 & 2001 have to have a switch and relay installed to turn the defroster on and off. Other than that it is the same process that it is for the MY 2002.
