Prius or Insight.
**** hybrids. Top gear
if you have a lead foot, a BMW m3 is gonna get better fuel mileage. The hybrids all have shitty ass interiors. So i don't know why you guys are comparing...get a turbo diesel.

diesel is more expensive then gasoline and BMW / VW / etc diesels? Come on...Why would you want to buy any of those cars when you want to SAVE some money.
I'll take the insight, looks nicer cheaper and realistically gets the same mpg as the prius despite what the EPA says.

I agree about nuclear and solar power, however I'd like to see it converted to something else, such as hydrogen. And, as a note, I avoid buying new cars (both as a "green" choice and in order to avoid losing money to instant depreciation).

Hybrid is the intermediate solution. And Mercedes has stepped up the game.... even with a mild hybrid. Their mild hybrid s400 made the full hybrid lexus look like gas hogs.
