Default Quick Charge Lightning

Cliff's Notes:
-all-electric sports car
-costs 120,000 pounds
-one of two cars to use litium-titanate batteries...charges in "minutes" enabling you to "fuel up" just like you do today...once stations put in industrial power outlets
-looks badass

The roof looks like it;s from the solstice coupe, the headlights from the ferrari, and the overall shape reminds me of the e type.
Interesting but I would hate to get into an accident with that car.

yeah. here's the thing though... once you have the technology, it's just a matter of time until the price comes down. Those dudes w/ the patents on the lithium-titanite anode will skim the crap out of it for a few years, then eventually go for volume.

^^ Exactly. I dont know why, but an electric motor per wheel rubs me the wrong way. What happens if one of those 4 motors die? Ouuuch.

Theoretically they should be able to run on just one for efficiency purposes. Most cars today are still one wheel drive. Unless they have AWD, 4WD, or an LSD.

I actually like the idea of individual motors for each wheel. It would make for some interesting handling traits with the right computer trickery. You can essentially have a car with a zero turning radius.

I mean 700hp is overkill. I wonder how much cheaper they could make it if they used 1/4 the power.
