Last I heard, the short form of "Road & Track" was "R&T", not "C&D".

The Z in there underperformed, compared to other tested Zs. But it did get a faster laptime than the CS. Perhaps it's better to compare to the base Cayman.

 

Porsche has a slogan, if not quite word for word, something to the effect of "In order to win, you must first finish."

By that standard, the 370Z failed miserably.

 

For the price of one Cayman S you could buy another 370Z to lap while the other one cools.

 

"Porsche: We may not be the best.......but we are the most expensive "

 

Wow, that Cayman S is super expensive.

 

They didn't justify their intangible rating well enough. It may be true but it didn't make me salivate for a CS as much as the 370Z (if I didn't already lust for the CS).
