$23K of $65K is 35.38%, so it's definitely not less than 1/3 or 33.33%

 

Their selling range is $21-23K. I think 1/3 is still good number to pick.

Anyway, 2 percentage points isn't "quite more". That was my point originally.

 

I misread the previous post before mine, I thought you were saying that the value had depreciated 1/3 of it's original value. So that's my bad.

Anyways, My friend bought his vr4 spyder from the original owner who bought it back in like 94 or whenever. He said that it was going for $65000, but no one would pay that much for that car, so the dealerships let it go for... i think he called it a black book value or something like that for $40000. $40000 brand new from mitsubishi back in 94 because they weren't selling the cars because of the high price tag. I just thought this was interesting.
