I also like how it looks. If you care what your race car looks like you aren't racing to win, you are racing to advertise (Nascar). I wouldnt change a thing.

I mean the hood on this thing looks like the literally dropped it on the car and said "yeah that's good" and bolted it on. The inside and the engine are amazing I just think if your going to put all that effort into it it shouldn't look like their body guy was blind. I am not saying it needs a $20k paint job or anything I am just saying the body panels shouldn't be an afterthought with all that money invested.
Give them the money of an F1 or Nascar team and I'm sure the car will fit together perfectly.
But nope, function > form. they don't give a F***

Pretty much 100% amazing.

lol @ the guys making fun of the body panels...if you read the article you'll see they barely even got the car together in time for the event they were making, and the kit was one-off. I guarantee they'll get ALL the kinks worked out eventually. They couldn't even finish tuning the motor because they were breaking dynos with it...

It IS ugly.

I guarantee, if anyone saw this car coming down the street FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME, WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT WAS UNDER THE HOOD, AND HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IT WAS BUILT FOR (and yes, I do understand that it's a racecar, but I just wanted to put it into perspective), they'd scream "ricer", "autozone special", etc. And that's the problem. We DO know what this car was meant for, so to some people it is already "attractive".

Once again, we know what this car is capable of and what it was built for, aesthetically and mechanically. But I know that if I miraculously rolled up behind this car at a stoplight, I'd laugh my ass off at the "shoddy" build quality. Then again, my jaw would drop the second it left me in the dust.
