restored 1970-ish Bronco vert
Ford's version of a Jeep Wrangler - tough and fun, you can take the top and doors off, but you need some place to store them. They ride like Jeeps of the day - rough.
After looking at restored/decent condiion Jeeps/Cruiser/Broncos myself, for the money, you can buy a new or slightly used Jeep, which will ride better, be more reliable, have newer tech, airbags, etc.

Usually when I see these now they've been restored and look real hot. If memory serves they had the pushrod 302. I have no input about maintenance, but as an off-roader it sure fits the bill. Great approach and departure angles, good ride height, looks pretty light, you can pull the doors and top off, etc. Think the old C/K Blazer of the 70s at 8-10ths.
