Its a $40k car - How nice is the interior going to be. I like the wood acsents in the door panels.

Congrats Corey. Car looks good.

BTW - you do realize you are still talking about SUV's. Where is that C6 you keep talking about.

Curious, why not wait for the new Highlander? Supposed to have a nicer interior than the current RX, and cheaper too.
Do not care at all for the Toyota dealerships in the area. I would literally pay an extra $5k to deal with the Lexus dealer versus the Toyota crap.

Oh, it hurts, Ritesh. Had to take care of the wife first and I was hoping to trade the S2000 in, but due to some weird tax credit issue with the leased S2000(not being able to use the trade as a sales tax credit because Honda Lease Trust actually owns the car and is entitled to the credit), it ended up not making sense financially.

Basically, I could pay $3k and walk away from the S2000 right now or pay $4k over the next 10 months (in lease payments) and just enjoy the S2000. Then, I just turn the lease car back in, pay a $250 disposition fee, and walk away.

So, I figured for a grand spread, it just makes sense to roll the S2000 for another 10 months. It's the accountant coming out in me. However, rest assured I will have a new C6 (or slightly used C6 Z06) by this time next year. Put it on your calendar.

In the meantime, you better figure out how to drive that GT3 because I'm gonna come get you at that time.

I don't know about comparisons to previous Lexus models, but it's still a nice looking interior, and the car looks great in white. Congratulations!

Now the question is how well will it clean up after slobber and drool and fur?
Looking into all-weather mat options, etc. to help mitigate that problem. And no, they don't play soccer, but Hattie (the bigger one) is a freak show with balls. She constantly flips the ball in your lap and I get tired of throwing it before she gets tired of playing fetch.

cravnpup, definitely smarter to keep the wife happy. The dogs are happy-go lucky-types. As long as you give them attention and play/cuddle with them, they're good to go. Wife is a bit more work.

It's not a Range Rover or Bentley. It's a somewhat fancy Toyota priced under $40k. It's not bad, but it's not going to be that glamorous.
Its a Camry with a lift!

Man, there are no RX350s in the high 30s in Jersey. At least not where I am. I guess it's the damn AWD they force on you in this "snow" state. We might have a 350 if that were the case, went for a pretty well loaded SRX AWD V6 lease instead.

Have fun in the Lexus.

Perhaps I set my standards too high, but my dad's 2003 MDX had a more luxurious interior than this. Still an awesome car. Lucky wife, huh!
