Default RS5

So, if I'm still in MN when my s2000 lease runs out NEXT summer, the S5 is at the top of my list of cars to go test drive. Not set on it, but it has AWD, great levels of luxury, hot looks, and a 6 speed. It also helps that it has 325 ft-lbs and goes like hell.

But then there is expected launch of the RS5. Assuming it makes it in 2009 as a 2010 model and the timing was right, what do you think that bad jackson would cost?

I figure the s5 is just a few thousand more than the s4, so it stands to reason that the RS5 would be just a few grand more than the RS4 (66k). I don't buy the v10 or tt v10 rumors on the RS5, I think it will have the RS4 powerplant w/ maybe a few revisions - so $68-70k seems reasonable.

??? What do you guys think?

I don't know what the RS5 will cost, but I saw a black S5 yesterday and it was just absolutely gorgeous; stunning presence.

Just go with the S5. Super Super Sexy. I guess I'm not too much into 13mpg cars these days.

I'd guess closer to $75,000. But who knows.

The next S4 is supposed to get a Supercharged V6, so that should still make great power with some added fuel efficiency, and will possibly find it's way into the S5 I would think.

Sounds like a bunch of crap. Superchargers are a step backwards.
