Default RSX Theft Rate?

Is it as high as the Integra was?

I'm certain that the new Civic SI will be a big target for theft. Just didn't know if the RSX's were hot targets like the Integra.

Honda/Acura finally got with the program and made anti-theft standard on the RSX, which immobolizes the engine unless the proper key is present. I don't know why it took so long :/

the integra was popular because the engine bolted right into the EG and EK civics. BTW, the 00-01 ITR/GSR had the immobilizer...it didn't matter, they were stolen anway.

the rsx engine didn't bolt right into the current civic nor the prior ones...although you could do it with some work.

All too easily circumvented, unfortunately...

WTF? What kind of poor excuse for "immobilizer" are they using? When are Honda/Acura customers going to demand the same kind of theft protection other makes have been offering for a decade or more?

Well, it wasn't just for the engine bolt-ons but also for the higher performing parts. They would just chop it and sell the parts so little ricers could upgrade their civics.

But no need to steal anymore since the new Si is even better than any RSX.

navi + LSD, which are absent on the RSX. LOL

I will have a hard time calling any Civic "better" than the RSX.
