RX8 on Speed Channel...
Good thing they had a suspension expert on hand to install x-drilled rotors and some awful graphics. When the owner got the car back, it seemed like he wasn't really happy with the results, and I don't blame him.
Sports Car Revolution wasn't bad, but they jumped around a bit too much. They tried to cover so many things in 1 episode, that IMO they really didn't spend enought time on any one topic. It also had a habit of sounding like an SCCA infomercial at times. I would watch it again though.

I think Speed did a horrendous job on both those shows. I got the distinct impression that there was a lot of acting going on, and some of the "upgrades" they decided to do were laughable.
If this is the quality of Speed's home-grown programming, I really hope they just stick with showing good 'ol racing instead.

That Tuner Transformation thing was the first car show that I absolutely could not sit thru. It was one of the worst shows I have ever seen. They guys really didn't know what they were talking about, the arguing was fake, the filming horrible, I just hit the thumbs down button on my Tivo about 10 minutes in and moved on to Sports Car Revolution, which was thankfully much better. The crew from Dream Car Garage does this one, and while they don't always know what they are talking about (particularly with new cars) I find them rather entertaining. Dream Car Garage was one of my favorite series on Speed.

Watching the RX-8 show made me wonder if maybe they should have chosen a vehicle for which aftermarket parts are more readily available. 209 whp with NOS is pretty sad, hope that the traction control or whatever has something to do with that.
The second show was OK, but the editing was horrible- I mean, my attention span is longer than 46 seconds, they didn't need to switch between sub-parts of the show quite so frequently. Other than that, it looks like it has potential.
