http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/cto/2551056675.html

I missed this deal today, it was sold with in 5 hours of posting it at 6am. Looked like the guy was a muscle car/truck person and never like or knew what the s2k is worth. Lucky person who bought it for 5k (((( OBO ))))

What do you guys think ?

It sure sounds like a scam to me as I recently posted a forsale on my OEM rims/tires off my 03 and have had several emails and both consisted of broken english and one said he was a doctor ( ouch ) and they both wanted to send me a cashiers check.....which is a no no on craiglist....there are some deals to be had there too....
by the way I'm in Florida and still have these super looking rims and almost new tires for sale...

Yeah, the cashier's check is a dead giveaway. When buying, you call, and get no answer, then the guy emails you saying he's out of the country, but if you send a $500 deposit, you can secure the car, and pick it up afterwards. Happened to me, and I just laughed.

Yep, or they don't list phone number or won't call you back if you give yours..I see them all the time mostly with boats and motorcycles...
