I definitely don't like the looks of Boxster. Never have, but that's just my personal preference.

I don't know what I'm missing here, but I've been driving an S for a few months now, and I don't see the fun that you guys always talk about. Sure, it's more fun than some other cars, but it has NEVER ever made me laugh or smile, like some of you always say. From the time I tested it through now, I have never smiled or laughed because of its fun. Maybe I'm not driving it right, huh? I do push it hard once in a while, but it's never made me laugh or smile. Maybe it will when I take it to a track this summer.

For $20K, you can equal the performance of an S to the Boxster S? What?!! What performance are you talking about? Because a stock S2000 is already in very close performance to the Boxster S, in every category. So for $20K more, you can only equal a Boxster S' performance? Please!!! You must be kidding! For $20K more, you can equal or better a Z06 performance, NOT a Boxster. You can totally eclipse a Boxster S by then.

Am I right? Give me $20K, and I'll prove it in a heartbeat.

If you are talking just numbers and a two seater then buy a used Miata for $5k and dump $10k into it and nothing will touch you.

I had a boxter, it was ok, smaller inside than the s2, when my soft top and fuel pump went out at 16000 miles I sold it. Too little car for the money, but it handled great. S2 or boxterS are better options, s2 is best bang for the buck, boxS is a nice car too. Boxters are heavily discounted now.
