Chevy really needs to get a better-looking steering wheel in there, stat! May I suggest I nice three-spoke?
To this I won't argue. I've thought that from first viewing as well. It is like they took it from the Chevy truck parts bin. The wheel on the upcoming Z06 is much better. Oh well, every car has something to complain about.

Congrats! Awesome color combo. I love the red interior. The C6 looks great, is this your first Corvette?
Yes, this is my first Vette. It also my first domestic vehicle in about 20-years!

Wow Scott, that thing looks sweet! How do you like driving a bigger more powerful car now?
Thanks. I am going to post a full write-up in a week or so. I need more seat time before making any real statements.

It allows the seat to fold forward. The passenger side has it as well.
That's what I figured. What you got back there? any room? Any secret compartments?

BTW good luck.

Hi guys and gals. As some of you might now from my other posts on this site, I have been in the process of selling my beautiful 2000 S2000 as I purchased a C6 vert.

The S2000 remains for sale at the moment (http://www.s2k4sale.d2g.com), however, I took delivery of my C6 vert here recently. I have not had the chance to clean up the C6 yet nor apply everyone's favorite, Zaino. However, I knew you sports car lovers would enjoy some pics. Below is a link to see these two spectacular cars together. This REALLY makes me want to keep my S2000!

Congrats on a nice car! But more importantly, congrats on a nice house as well!

Congrats Scott!
I have wanted to be a Vette fan for a long time and it looks like I might finally get my wish.

Congrat's Scott.

Truth be told, until now I've never been a big fan of Corvette's (except the 63-67 Stingrays) but the C6 has changed my mind. I really like the looks (esp. the 'vert) and was very surprised by how nice the car drove. Power all day long and yes, I thought the interior should be nicer for as much $ as Chevy is asking but unlike the C5 I don't think there's any real problems. The fit and finish is good and no squeeks or rattles.

Enjoy that bad boy.
Honestly, I've never liked Corvettes of any year. I've also pretty much despised domestic autos for the last 20-years. The C6 utterly shocked me. The styling is much more European than ever. I love my S2000, but after 5-years I was getting an itch to try something else. Except for the Elise, nothing peaked my interest. Given my commute, the Elise is not a possibility. The C6 came out of no where. The pics really don't do it justice. It really is more curvaceous in person. I still cannot believe I own a domestic....

No, the S has cornered the market on secret compartments! Honestly I am not sure I'll ever use this "feature". It does, however, allow easier access to the rear speaker should that be required.
