Default S2000 compared to others in daily driving

Hi, how does the s2k compare to other comparisons such as evo, sti, boxter, etc. in real daily driving? I heard many times that the s2k fishtails and slides. In raining days, is the s2k ok to drive for daily?

The s2000 is probably one of the most impractical cars out there. I dont' use it for daily driving. I have a beater CRX that lets me go to work and get groceries.

The s2000 (pre-06) doesn't have a traction control system, so you may want to becareful when you are driving in the rain. Driving slow helps, but if a car cuts you off and you have to steer quickly, you may suffer from snap oversteer...

But, on hot summer days, you can put the top down and drive like crazy! That's what its for anyways.

Does the traction control on the 06 help a lot in raining drives?

No issues driving in the rain, just be reasonable. Remember it's not AWD and the OEM tires are designed for DRY conditions. If you want to drive in the snow you MUST have snow tires no ands, ifs, or buts.

Gosh, the summer tires are just fine in wet. But make sure you have tred on them and don't drive like a madman in the rain and you'll be OK.

No tread in the rain is

I drive mine 130 miles, 3-4 days a week right now. Two hours a day in the S is a great time.

A friend of mine drives his year round, 65 miles round trip 5 days a week. He puts his extra set of wheels with Blizzak LM22s mounted on for winter and gets back and forth with no problems.

28 mpg, VTEC fun. My only wish was that mine had lower miles.
