oh, totally forgot, you can do this easily.

It is even easier on a SMG car.

Been there, done that....

I had a 2001 S2k for 2 years and I recently changed for a 2002 E46 M3 standard.

There are absolutely no doubts about the M3 being a great car all around. Looks great, confortable, fast, luxo.... I like it a lot. But I think what illustrates the difference the best is that sometime, in the M3, I find myself driving without thinking about it, and that never happened in my S2K. S2K means passion, fun, involvment. S2k is your college life, the M3 is what comes after. When you start working, you still have fun, but it is not college anymore. You make more money, you can afford to do what you want, but deep down you miss those crazy days....

I MISS MY S2K !!!!!!!

But I think I'll get another one soon

damn that's great, I miss my college life, don't think I'll ever sell the S. I may get the M4 in a few years, but the S will still be around when I need a back road fix.

The S2000 handles better, has a world class shifter, is a drop top and is alot of fun to drive. The M3 is more powerful, roomier, and alot more luxury oriented but doesn't loose focus on the fact that it's a sports car. I love my M3 for everday driving but I'm currnently looking for another S2000 as a weekend/fun car... I just miss it too much.
