Default S2000 too cheap to be true?

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...4504954109&rd=1

And keep in mind that's Canadian dollars.

Buy it now is $24000 CDN, so reserve will be lower than
that. I'm guessing $23000 CDN?

And that translates to $16,500 USD approximately.

2001, 72000 miles.

My instinct tells me it's been in a wreck for that price although I could be wrong.

Yeah that's what crossed my mind too,
but apparently no mention of accidents.

Also, Canada has no such things as CarFax
like the U.S. to check accidents history. I
also understand that not all accidents are
reported and will not show up on CarFax.

It's got 72,000 mi on it. Plus its practically wintertime, and prices for sportscars decline in the regions that see winter. $16,500-$17,000 sounds about right to me...

Price doesn't actually seem so far off to me either for a car with 70k+ miles on it.

HOWEVER, notice that this canadian car has TEXAS plates on it. I'd check it out pretty carefully before jumping on it.

This also looks like a pretty good deal though:

That price is in line, that's a LOT of Km's on that car. I suspect there is nothing tricky about it. Selling a US car in Canada is also tricky which is probably why it's a bit low.

Check out www.autotrader.ca that price is fine.

Just make sure you cover all your bases before you bid. Get contact info of the seller, ask for more pictures, etc. Once you feel good about the deal, then bid.

Yeah, seems about right. KBB has prices pretty much the same.

Does that mean there is something wrong with the U.S.
car if they try to sell it in Canada?

Thanks.

Ran some searches on AutoTrader.ca.

The cheapest ones I found are asking for
$28000? (with 8XXXX Kms, MY00)

This one apparently is asking for $21,500.
