S2000 w/ SC and DD vs '04/05 WRX STi
I am debating between keeping my S2000 and buying a daily driver and a comptech supercharger (for the S2000). Or keeping my S2000 for another year and then trading it in and getting an 04 or 05 WRX STi.
So I guess the question is, what is a better combo? The STi would be a good daily and also would be fun to drive. But would it be as much fun as the S2000 w/ a supercharger? Decisions, decisions, decisions.

I am a firm believer in fun car + DD. Sometimes I drive another car (my Legacy) for a while and may not drive my S2000 for a few days. When I get back in the S2000 after a time it's that much more fun.
(For me) 2 cars > 1 car.
The S2000 is a 2-seat vert (sports car) and the STi is 4-door sedan they can both be fun but different.
How much is a SC? I wonder if it's worth me doing or if I'd rather replace my S2000 with a Cayman S in 1-2 years.

are you considering the STI because you need more that 2 seats?? if you merely want something that's more comfortable for daily driving, the STI's ride really isn't that much more comfortable than the S2K's.

Really need 2 more seats and more power. so maybe the DD + Supercharger is the best choice.

Sorry I can't be of much help, I am in the same situation. Once the basic mods are completed (rims, tires, coilovers, intake, exhaust) is it worth taking the leap and dumping a lot of money in an older car or just use the money to upgrade to a newer car? I'm afraid of spending $8k on S/C only to get bored of it and sell the car after a year or so when I could have just jumped ahead and bought the new car in the first place. The bonus of modifying my existing car is that I have already taken the depreciation hit, whereas if I purchase a new STi, there is still some money to be lost to deprciation.
STi's are lot easier and cheaper to modify, but there is something to be said for a "sleeper" S/C S2000 also.

I was considering selling both my S2k and my DSM (beater/DD) to get an EVO, but I just can't part with my S! Kind of sealed the deal when I let my friend (EVO owner) drive my car and he told me I'd be nuts to sell the S.
