S2k is never replaceable. The engineering and design behind it makes it one of a kind IMO....

 

Wow, that car looks gorgeous. As good as the S is, I think this is a worthy replacement.

 

I aint mad at cha. That color is beautiful and I would love to drive one some day.

That's not a replacement, that's an upgrade. The Boxster is THE BEST roadster on the planet IMHO when all things are considered. The S2000 was a close 2nd while it was being produced. It's also the best car Porsche makes (for me) from the perspective of pure driving enjoyment on a daily basis in the real world. Fastest? No. Sexiest? No. Accelerate hardest? No. Most fun to drive? Yes.

While I mostly agree I have to slightly nitpick your comment. The Boxster was not better than the S2000 until 2005 and even then it took a Boxster S to do the job.

Yesterday. Unfortunately it is on garage duty until Monday when I get the clear bra put on.
I got a nickel-sized rock chip on the hood of my Lexus driving home from the dealer, pissed me off every time I looked at it for 4 years...
I waited 4 months for the car, another two days won't kill me.
