When I had my Z06 I met a lot of fellow owners who "waited their whole life" to be able to afford their dream car, a Corvette. I think the brand has more of these lifetime wanna-owners than any other.

Heh, if I ever buy a new F430 I'd probably feel that much joy...

what does it matter. it was a valid (although controversial) statement. the guy in the photo was not particularly attractive. if he was to pull up into a gas station with a honda civic to pump gas, i'm sure most girls (or even guys) would most likely not even bother noticing him. but if he pulled up in a yellow z06, i'm sure most people would do a double take to check out the car and even try to see who is driving it. sure he might not make more friends or get with more girls, but i'm sure he will be noticed more, and at least get compliments for his car.
Again....how old are you?? Are you still in high school??

I guess it just has a really geeky air to it. And the bad music doesn't help.

To each his own. Some people dream about buying a V6 mustang convertible and get all excited and take pictures when they finally buy it. I am in no position to criticize someone for wanting to share the joy of having their dream come true.

I'm sure I will look just as excited and dorky the day I take delivery of my ultimate dream car.

That guy made the second worst mistake possible on the internet: Posting pictures of yourself next to your car on the internet.

Of course, the worst mistake possible would be to post pictures of your girlfriend/wife next to your car.

While not 100% positive, I thought the purpose of the slide show was a way to celebrate the purchase of a new car; to openly display their excitement. The slideshow allowed me to vicariously feel good, too.

Why others take time out of their busy day to comment on the people themselves, the slideshow / music, is beyond me. Normally, Steve seems to be a just the facts kind of guy, but here he seems to be upset to the point of vomiting. Why? Dunno.
