Default Should I buy this car

I am looking at a 1996 Mazda 626 tonight with 145k, new rebuilt transmission and the woman says the only thing it needs is a new antenna, it has a sticker til July I believe and they want $2,100 for it. Cosmetically the car is in nice shape, no dents or anything like that, has a sunroof however I have heard from one person to stay FARRRR away, a buddy of his I guess had one and said it was nothing but problems from day one, I also found some higher mileage reviews that owners posted and if they could say one thing it would be UNRELIABLE... the majority of the reviews were them crying and bitching about all the problems they had however I didn't know if anyone hear knew anything about them or previously owned one. What do you think?

Stay far away from it. And while you're at it grow some balls to make your own decisions.

I drove the car tonight, it drives straight, aligned... new tires, needs a tune up and it leaks oil a little bit, maybe a valve cover gasket but all in all the power stuff works fine, transmission isnt clunking or hitting through the gears hard, I offered $1,900 firm if not than she can find another buyer... you can't get much for $1,900 bucks so I figured if it can last through what I need it to last through then it's worth it I guess. the car physically is in good shape no rust, solid besides tid bits it drove fine.
