Should Steve C be allowed back?
Personally, I think SteveC should be allowed back.
We're all adults on this forum. IMO, by banning him the moderators went too far. I think we should be allowed to make up our own minds as to what we read and what we ignore. This isn't China...
I was going to actually spend the $20 on a membership a few days ago, but when I found out that Steve had been banned, I put my credit card back in my wallet. Not because I'm a SteveC fanboi, but because I don't like being told what I can and can't say.

I disagreed with Steve C about as often as I agreed with him but I think this board is worse off without him.

Thing is, Steve is like a part of this forum. It can go on well without him, but IMO it's better to have too many posts than not enough.
Half the stuff he posts I could care less about, but most probably feel the same about half the stuff I post. But take away content and you have a lesser forum.
Now I don't know why he was banned, but I think he should tone down his poison pen at times b/c he is not the king of all car knowledge.
I agree with everyone who says it may be over the top to ban him, or opinions to that effect. But what I don't get is how is the board worse off without him, or better with him? Other than the entertainment factor that is.
