Default The Sky Redline

Yes, I realize that the Solstice GXP is near this thread but I was wanting to know how many of you are waiting on the release date of the Sky Redline?

Of course they will dare to compete with the S - it will be close too on performance, but I think the S2000 has no worries when you look at ergonomics. I'm waiting for the magazines' tests too, but mainly because I like seeing the S2000 in print

I'm not interested in another roadster that is below or equal to the S2000. If I went for another roadster it'd have to be better all around such as a Boxster S.

I won't be surprized at all if the Solstice is quicker or performs better than the S2000 in some areas, but over all (IMO) it's a lateral car to the S2000.

I bet during the track test the s2k is zooming through the conrner the soltice is going to understeer and head into the wall it might be quicker on straight line but most likely not at auto x-ing

I actually think that the Redline/GXP has a chance. 2liter turbo, with 5 speed aggressive gearbox and VVT. Very capable.

I think it will be close. I like the Sky. Saw one in front of the dealership today in red. Good looking car.

I also drove a Solstice a while back, and thought that it definitely had a distinctly different drive feel than the other GM products I've rented. If the Sky is in the same vein from a driver-feel (ergonomics) point of view. . . heck, I'd give it a shot.
