S2000 will be faster under 60-80MPH but at highway speeds the SLK will slowly walk away.

 

The SLK only weighs ~3300lbs? Lighter than I had imagined. Power-to-weight ratio gives the S2000 an advantage, but who knows in the real world. However, on a track, a pro driver would be considerably quicker in the S2000, I'd imagine.

 

You can't beat German engineering.

what makes you think an SLK can even HANG with an s2k ?



i've seen my boy kill the new SLK AMG model in his SRT-4.
I walk the SRT with bolt-ons, weight reduction, and gearing.

 

If your buddy beat a slk 55 AMG, he's got more than just boltons. Maybe it was a SLK 350 with the AMG kit.
