6:59 is fast

 

Good god that's a scary track in a car that wickledly fast. Feels like it's about 2 car widths, tops. Did you notice how many times the guy put a wheel in the grass, or had a massive correction? Watch 4:30 to 5:15 again, there were several.

I'm just going to make this blanket statement. Don't EVER put me down for a 7:00 lap at the Nurburgring. I don't care whose car it is, or how fast it is. I'm not convinced i'd break 10:00 flat.

 

It seemed like the tires got pretty greasy towards the end of the lap.

 

I'm convinced recent 'Ring times are goosed a little bit. The cars are so heavily prepped and the drivers so heavily dialed in for the runs, that they are absolutely killing it these days. I feel like a few years back they just grabbed a car off the showroom floor and went for a drive. Whatever time they got is what they got.

Holy chit, he kissed 325kmh (202mph!) Feck that noise. I drove it in a Focus ST170 and that was plenty fast enough for me!

 

That's fast.

Wonder how fast a human can drive it and react?
