Wait a minute! Did it cost him one billion dollars to paint that? If not, then what the hell is it supposed to mean?
I think he is saying that the paint job "looks like a billion bucks".

Since my knowledge of "A billion Dollars" is pretty much limited to Bill Gates, and this particular paint job...I'm going to go on record as saying; A billion dollars (as a look) isn't terribly attractive.

Then he certainly phrased it the wrong way. There are many other paint jobs that "look like a billion bucks", his is certainly not the world's first. Some Maaco paint jobs look like a trillion bucks to me.

For the record, I knew what he meant, but it sounded totally awkward and unreasonable.

for the record, he painted the f'ing sidewalls. what a douche

honestly - it had to have costed him a lot more than a regular custom paint-job if he's asking $300,000

I think he spent too much time playing with his sister's Barbie toys as a kid.

Not to belabor this, but anyone ready to spend "a billion dollars" on a paint job, and not have money to take halfway decent pictures of it when it's done, LET ALONE choosing a halfway interesting car to do it on, is one of the world's more reknowned idiots.

My only thiking on the "billion dollar" claim is that that's all gold leaf on the car, and so that in his mind makes it worth more money or something. Anyone willing to pay $300k for this is at least as thick as the seller.

Nobody's gonna buy it for any where near that price or even half that. Will he able to sell it for under $100K? Who knows...depends on what he really has on the car.
