Default SRT JEEPs

so the post about the hennessy jeep got me thinking. does anyone know any SRT8 owners? i lurked on some forums but they seem dead. i have had my eye on these trucks for awhile(dont ask me why), i think it might be a cool daily driver. they seem to come nicely equipped and they sure look mean. but as always Mopar reliability always scares me, but the other SRT products seem to runs fine. so basically what im looking for is some real world thoughts on the trucks, i know the MPG will suck, but what about the other stuff? thanks guys!

It's a street Jeep that isn't as useable for towing and is no good off of the road. I've read that the front bumper hangs so low that you have to be careful when going over bumps and such; not something I'd consider desireable in a sport UTILITY vehicle.

Just looking at having a performance SUV and ignoring it's un-jeepness, I'd say it's an ok vehicle. If I were into performance SUV's I'd save some cash and get a mint GMC Typhoon.

The Typhoons aren't horribly hard to find, but the Syclone(truck version that I'd rock) is extremely rare.

I agree with the SRT8's looks being better.

would you consider the 300C SRT-8? Or did you want the AWD of the Jeep version

I would rather have a VW Golf R32. The gas mileage and resale value will sink that Chrysler product

SUV's. Bricks with wheels?

How much is an SRT compared with a S2K?

In Aus, 75K for the S2K. Around 90K for the house and wheels.

Not an owner, but am a seller. I've sold two of them so far, and they are awsome vehicles. How many 5000lb suv's can run 0-60 in 4.6 seconds? The looks are great, the interior is ok (suede seats but some hard plastic), and the motor and performance are amazing for an all-weather grocery getter. I'd buy one if there were better lease rates on daimler/chrysler products.
