Reigning British Superbike Champion Steve Hislop has been tragically killed in a Helicopter Accident in the Scotish Borders, thankfully no one else was involved.

Steve was a great rider who had also won 11 TT races, he was reaching the end of his career and this year had struggled to cope with the change from Ducati to Yamaha R1, he was recently sacked by Yamaha but immediately got a deal to ride his old Ducati and was looking forward to getting back onto the duke at his favourite BSB circuit of Oulton Park in two weeks time.

Just goes to show, lifes too short not to enjoy.
