C&D had the EVO X being quicker than the STI 0-60 and 1/4 mile

0-60 0-100 1/4 mile

EVO 4.6sec 12.5sec 13.4sec@103 MPH
STI 5.0sec 12.6sec 13.5sec@103 MPH

The issue for the Mitsu remains old and new. We don't know how the new motor will respond to enhancements and all of the other parts require attention well beyond the somewhat overbuilt from a driveline perspecive Subaru.

Oh wtf. Not only is your user name offensive, but your post has no relevance here.

Vishnu tuned the X from 220 something stock on their low reading dyno to 280 something with just a flash, all stock parts.

The X is making as much power with tune only as the IX with tune plus turbo back exhaust and high flow cat. I'm impressed. It remains to be seen how much big power the aluminum block 4B11 can ultimately make, but it should respond very well to basic mods.

^You can't use vishnu as an example as they lie and many times they say 280whp or whatever and then when the car is dynoed by a 3rd party they make less then stock. I've seen it happen multiple times.

At a local event on a dynoed where IXs dyno around 250-260 at the wheels a new X dynoed at 240 at the wheels. I would say stock for stock they are roughly equal. I know AMS is coming out with some parts and doing some real tuning of the X so we should have a good idea of what the X makes soon enough. But, my evo's engine is stock so what do I care! I sometimes wonder if I'm the only one on earth!
