I just picked up my new STi last night. I have a CD/CD changer laying around and would like to install it.

1. Is the car pre-wired so that I can install it easily or do I have to run wire?
2. How about the speakers?
3. A forum you can point me too with some more info would be nice.
4. Don't buy the Silver STi I test drove in KC....

I believe the car is pre-wired, but doesn't have speakers.

I got the blue and gold.....I debated for about 2 1/2 hours over those colors and the silver and silver combo....Subaru colors won. I am happy w/the decision....

So far, 141 miles and loving it....Audi who?

 

Do anyone know what size are the speakers and if the dash kit for a regular WRX fits?

I find this forum the best, I find NASOIC just horrible, It feels like the average age of the owners is 19 and the moderators have GOD tips.

This site feels much like this S2000 meeting place.

 

You can put 6 1/2 in the front, and 5 1/4 in the back. There's a vendor on imprezawrxsti.com that sells speaker kits for the STI, Innovative Performace. Check out their site, they even have a list of speakers that'll fit with their kits.
