hey guys...my roomate has a friend a year or two younger than he...the kid bought a beat used ser spec v...doesnt know anything about cars...well recently the car randomly wouldnt rev above 1500 rpm..below that, it runs normal...he has no idea..and i dont either...he said he searched the nissan boards and couldnt find anything...any similar situations yall have run into with maybe a different car..thanks, im just trying to help him out a bit

 

I'd normally suggest taking it to a Nissan mechanic, but that just seems too frickin' obvious

 

Check the MAF/MAS, may not be correctly grounded.
No CEL?
