Default Tesla Roaster out in the wild

Being living in socal, relatively close to the showroom of Tesla, and driving so much milage per yr, this is only one of the few times that I've seen a Tesla Roadster out in the wild.

This yellow one doesn't look all that bad either.

Can't wait to see their Model S

I have not seen one yet on the road. But seeing special cars like these in the 'wild'
always makes my day.

I know, I've been a car nut all my life.

The rep and I are getting together for another test drive. She's pretty cool and said whenever I'm ready. I'm interested in seeing their 4 door car when it comes out at 50-60k.

One showed up at a track in NorCal last weekend (Button Willow?), and apparently it was fast for a lap or two, then would overheat and go into limp mode. Tesla is supposed to be working on a liquid cooling system to cure the problem.

My boss owns one of the first Teslas. Completely coincidentally, the Tesla dealership in West Los Angeles is next door to our office building. He was seriously considering asking if he could use the show room as a parking space everyday. I've had a chance to ride shot gun with him and it is FAST. Crazy fast. Alas, it's already broken down once in the first 6 months.
