Test Drive: Lotus Exige N/A
So, I finally got to drive my friend's Exige this weekend..
All I can say is.. "WOW"...
Who else has driven the Exige/Elise and what are your thoughts in comparison to the s2k??
The s2k is way more civil in everyday driving and is much more comfortable, IMO. (as well as much better looking)
The Lotus is a great handling car, true, but it looks like something you'd expect to see Yoshi driving in Mario Kart while shooting turtle shells at Luigi.

I've had a go in several Exiges. Supercharged one as well...
Better or worse looking then an S2000? Well, to each their own. I think they look way too different to be comparable just like that. The Lotus does look more 'different' tho'.

Lotus rock. It made my S feel like a boat.
I'm thinking of getting an elise next year, but its fragile chasis make me hesitate a bit.
I saw picture of this exige at Elisetalk.com all mangled up after hitting a small wood block on the highway, I mean, chuck of wood basically put a HOLE on the floor well( Yes you can see the ground through the hole!!!
) and many cuts and dents on underneath the car. And yes, it was totalled.
It just sucks that elise can be easily totalled as simple as by hitting a bump on the undercarriage.

I love the look of the exige! The car is not very fast though, especially at highway speeds, but i guess thats missing the point of the vehicle...
