Test Drive M-B C class, may include AMG model
[B]Just in case anyone is interested in test driving some Mercedes Benz C-class cars (supposedly includes the AMG c32) in August, here is a link to the event. There should still be times available on Friday and Snday (Saturday is pretty much booked solid).

I'm signed up for the 10 to 12 slot on Sunday.
It'd be cool to have a bunch of us in the same group.
I don't expect them to be taking times, but we can do it ourselves with a stopwatch.
If you've never done one, common car autocrosses are a real kick. Everybody drives the same car, so the difference in the times go straight to driver skill and perfomance.

Went to the one in DC.
Very nice atmosphere/setup. You get to test drive every C class, except for the AMG, just ride shotgun. However, the AMG drivers are professional racecar drivers for team Mercedes. Talk to the guys, they are very nice/cool.
Free food (great finger food, not crappy food), free gifts, worth the trip. You need your validation to drive to get your "badge" per se, but anyone can just go and enjoy the food and gifts.
I had my pass and I took my Sister, and we both had plenty to eat, see, drive, and walked away w/ some free stuff.
You can also check out other MB's. They have a modded C230 I think, that was pretty sweet. We also sat in and played w/ SL55 or SL500.
The only drawback was all the courses only takes about 30sec to complete, but you can do it again if you like.
