Is there an intelligent, systematic way to decide
Hi. I'm having a classic, new car buying dilemma: I can't decide between the Fiji Blue or the Nighthawk Black Civic Si. I'm sure many forum members and car lovers here have had the same problem of trying to decide on color. Is there a logical, systematic way to figure out which color one would be happiest with over time?
1. sight (which one physically looks better on that car, shows the lines better, etc.)
2. appeal (which one do YOU like)
3. care (how hard to maintain, and is that an issue for you)
4. contrast (how does it look against the interior colour, i.e. total look of the car)
5. resale (what will sell easily down the road as a used car)

If you are right down the middle 50/50, toss a coin.
In your case, my opinion is to go with the Blue. Black is a sweet color on cars, but its the most difficult to maintain and keep clean.

Do you like seeing scratches, every bit of dirt and dust, plus a scorching hot interior during the summer. If so, black is the perfect choice.
I've had 2 black cars, and I'm done w/ that color.
