Ditto on the Pilot.

By the way, here is the working Pilot Forum link that Humantek posted. He just added the , in the link line which made it not work.

You can also try the Honda SUV Froums.

If tons of room isn't an sisue, I would consider the Murano.......my bro has had an SE for just under a year and has had 0 problems to date. There are a few tweaks for the 04 model. They are actually fairly entertaining to drive, the interior is ok (no worse than the Pilot IMO).

The Pilot isn't a bad vehicle, just strikes me as being a tad boring.

Plus I could not deal with a column shifter, that would drive me insane.

Seriously consider the new 4Runner. My dad manages the dealership here and while my MR2 was getting some work done I had the Sport V8 model to get me around. Also their new V6 is pretty potent too if your not into having the V8. I recently just drove a Pilot for the first time about 2 weeks ago, didn't enjoy it too much but for what it is it's a great little SUV I suppose. As far as resale value and reliability both are gonna be great. But I guess the Rav-4 would be more in the same class as the Pilot...

stennesmk1na,

The Rav4 is nowhere near the same class as the Pilot.

The Rav4 would be in the same class as the Honda CRV.

I test drove both the new 4Runner and the Pilot. My wife and I purchased the Pilot even with my prior ownership of 3-Toyota pickups and 3-4Runners over the past 16yrs.

Hmm Pilot is definetly not in the same as the Rav4. A CRv yes, but not a Pilot. A Pilot is basically a MDX with a more boring look, but they perform the same which is kinda cool.

Not exactly true. The MDX has more HP, better quality materials on the interior, a more aggressive (stiffer) suspension, and few more perks like the sunroof.
