Default Thinking of Ford Transit XL Van

My daily driver is my S2K and my girlfriend has a MKII MR2. Both our cars are next to useless for transporting anything larger than a carry-on bag. We've been toying with the idea of getting the Transit XL Van to be our new daily driver and more of a practical vehicle. The 2014 models with the facelift look really good.

The price tag is cheap at $22k with the 2.5L 6-sp auto. This van could also serve as dual purpose for me to transport my motorcycle to trackdays

Anyone have personal experience or thoughts on the Transit 'mini vans'? I'm usually anti-Ford and American cars in general, but this one has my eye. Ford has also stepped up their game and want to believe it isn't what it was before.

Actually went to go look at them to lease one of the medium-top versions with the ecoboost 3.5l. Really impressed with how they drive, and they tow upwards of 9000 pounds! Will be able to tow the car to the track, and pack an entire compliment of tools and people inside. Fit and finish are pretty good too, options are plenty, and they look WAY better than the Ram or the Nissan.

Nissan has similar one too with the NV200.

I hope the new one is of better quality and build than the previous gen. We have a 2010 Transit as a work vehicle and it's not been great.

New one looks miles better than ours, but there's no way I'm buying another to replace it. When it dies it's going in the trash can.

Big trash can.....

From what I can tell, the new one is miles better than the last one, especially the full-sized ones.

I just found out they reduced the rear cabin height down to 49" with the rear door at 44", which means you cant load a motorcycle in it

Edit: The dodge looks very cool and fits the requirements

Their full size one is actually bigger than an Econoline, and I can stand up straight and not hit my head inside it. My 5'11" friend can as well.
