thinking of getting rid of the s!
i have a 2003 s2000 and ive had for about a year now and im very unhappy with it . im even thinking of getting rid of it . they have so many freaking problems and they r slow as hell . to make it fast its very expensive . to turbocharge it ur looking at like 6k and to supercharge ur looking at like 8k . and headers are like 1200 dollars for only like a 7hp gain . very unhappy with it . very fragile car . im starting to see it as a chick car .
different people different strokes. What are you looking at getting into? I'd suggest EVO or STi...or a GTO if you want power for cheap.
I've been thinking about this power war....although its nice to have loads of tq and hp, there will always be a car that has more hp/tq. If thats all you care about, you'll never be satisfied with any car.
Although I feel like the S could use more power, I've come to realize that the whole package is perfect and the power is definitely enough to get my blood boiling on some curves. Also, most people doesn't tap even 70% of the car's potential, there is the power aspect but not everyone has pushed the S to its handling limits around a track. Although I can't say I will keep the S forever, I can definitely say that I won't get rid of it until my driving abilities surpasses that of the S's potential.
